Minis week:
Tällä viikolla Minit ovat tutustuneet Italiaan pizzaleikin kautta. Avasimme pizzeriamme ja Minit ovat pienryhmissä yhdessä Maxien ja Viskareiden kanssa käyneet vuoroillansa leikkimässä pizzeriassa. Ulkoleikeissä olemme myös harjoitelleet pizzojen täyttämistä luonnonmateriaaleilla ja samalla olemme harjoitelleet kaveritaitoja mm. jakamisen ja yhdessä tekemisen myötä. Minit toivoivat heti viikon alussa kävelyretkelle lähtöä ja kiersimme lähialueita ja etsimme kevään merkkejä. Näimme myös puisen ketun ja hirvipatsaan matkalla sekä lukuisia työkoneita. Keskiviikkona pidimme aamupiirin ulkona ja lauloimme yhdessä puistossa. Lisäksi piilotimme aamupiirin ankat puistoon ja etsimme niitä sekä leikimme hippaa. Perjantaina valmistimme yhdessä pizzaa päiväkodilla ja lapset olivat itse valinneet täytteet pizzoihin. Ensi viikolla jatkamme Italiaan tutustumista.

Maxis and Viskaris week:
This week marked the beginning of our exploration into Italian culture. On Monday, we discussed briefly about the rich history and landmarks of Italy, discussing famous landmarks and the flags. Tuesday brought us a delightful music lesson with our music teacher. During Viskari time, the Viskari group focused on learning teen numbers from 11 to 19, while the Maxi group engaged in counting activities from 1 to 10, using colorful counting beads. Wednesday was a trip day to the library. After borrowing some books, we headed to the library park where the children enjoyed outdoor activities like jogging and playing tag, making the most of outdoor time. Thursday was a day of creativity as we celebrated craft day by painting pizzas on paper. The children unleashed their artistic talents and creativity as they decorated their pizzas with finger paint, resulting in colorful and imaginative masterpieces. Finally, on Friday, we celebrated toy day by allowing the children to share and showcase their favorite toys. To add to the excitement, we also made our own pizzas, which the children enjoyed for lunch, rounding off a week filled with learning, creativity, and delicious Italian cuisine.
