MAXIS:
This week has been a delightful and sunny week here at the daycare, filled with exciting activities and learning opportunities.
On Monday, we had shapes and patterns. We watched engaging videos and went on a shape scavenger hunt around the daycare, exploring the various shapes in our environment.
Tuesday was a special day as we celebrated Vappu with a fun-filled party! Our little ones enjoyed dancing at the disco, including in delicious munkki and juice. We had also some nice activities.
Thursday, we engaged in special card making grafts, allowing our imaginations to run wild with colors and designs.
Friday our plans for creating shapes with Hama beads had to be postponed to next Friday. This change was necessary as the entire daycare is gearing up for our upcoming spring party.
We’re looking forward to next week’s adventures!
VISKARIT:
Finally, Spring sprang up and the week sailed away like a loose Vappu balloon!
Monday the Viskari children were busily working on their Super, Secret, Special project which will continue to be prepared for the coming week.
Of course, on Tuesday morning the celebration of Vappu was attended by numerous costumed characters such as: Cats, Princess Elisa, Spiderman and others. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves during the morning party; later the snack of a sugary donut and juice made the day extra special.
Thursday had a change of plan, as the group began planning their spring party song. During our quiet time, the group had writing practice for the number “10”, which completed our math book project.
Friday there was the chance to bring an Outdoor toy and morning Spring Party practice.
Also, Viskari parents are reminded to sign and send their child’s online DigiE.C.E form, Thank you.
