MINIT/MINIS
The week went by so fast and now it’s time for our week’s recap. On Monday, the Minis went for sledding trip with the Maxis, we only had our little ones, so we decided to go to Risto Rytin park and played there instead. We had our own music circle on Tuesday and sung lots of English songs, some dancing and lots of giggles. On Wednesday, we had our own table puppet show. It was about a caterpillar looking for a shoe, she met friends along the way who were willing to let her borrow their shoe but it didn’t fit. In the end, the caterpillar turned into a beautiful butterfly and didn’t need a shoe anymore. Hooray! The next day, we did some arts and crafts and made our own cute caterpillars resting on a leaf. Our Minis are artists in the making! To end our week, we had play day and practice our social skills- to share and not take toys from others. They also did some role-playing on their own. It was nice to see that some of our older ones are doing some role playing with each other and they are doing their part very well! We hope you have a lovely weekend! See you on monkey Monday!

MAXIT/MAXIS
Hiihtoloma viikko on ollut rauhallinen maksien ryhmässä. Maanantaina lähdimme koko päiväkoti laskemaan mäkeä ja leikkimään Risto Rytin puistoon. Hauskaa oli kuten aina! Tiistaina askartelimme tuulikelloja helmistä ja löytämistämme kepeistä. Keskiviikkona leivoimme laskiaispullia koko päiväkodille. Lapset malttoivat kuunnella tarkasti ohjeet ja kaikki pääsivät tekemään osansa leipomisprosessissa. Päivän kohokohta taisi olla itse laskiaispullien syöminen. 😊 Torstaina lauloimme muskarissa lasten lempilauluja. Rati riti ralla – laulu on noussut maxien ryhmän suosioon tänä talvena. Perjantaina leikittiin, piirreltiin ja tehtiin hamahelmiä. Lapset saivat vapaasi valita leikkinsä. Iltapäivällä rentouduimme satuhieronnan parissa.
