VIIKON 47 TAPAHTUMAT MUNKASSA / WEEK 47 IN MUNKKA
This week was marked by two approaching holidays: Independence Day and, of course, Christmas! Viskaris painted traditional Finnish candles on our windows and discussed the meaning behind Independence Day. Arts and Crafts theme in Munkka is getting festive too. Minis and Midis created awesome Christmas hats using cotton balls, while Maxis and Viskaris worked on colourful Christmas baubles. Not to forget our Muskari class which always gets everyone in a cheerful mood. Friday, we enjoyed the sun going to the forest where the children looked for seasonal changes in nature. Also, we celebrated the start of the festive season by having rice porridge for lunch! Christmas songs and candles made the atmosphere even more magical.
