Viikkokirje 42
MINIT/MINIS
Tällä viikolla minit ovat saaneet tuoda kotoa oman lempikirjan. Olemme lukeneet niitä pitkin viikkoa. Maanantain aloitimme satutuokiolla ja luimme yhden minin tuomasta Tiitiäisen metsä- runokirjasta muutamia runoja. Tiistaina vietimme Muumin päivää, katsoimme jakson muumeja, luimme Muumi sadun, kuuntelimme Muumi lauluja sekä väritimme Muumi värityskuvat. Sekös olikin lapsista kiva päivä. Keskiviikkona kävimme kävelyretkellä, kävelimme Ankka- toimistolle moikkaamaan Heidi- ankkaa ja katselemaan ikkunasta ankkoja. Torstaina vuorossa oli jumppaa ja piirileikkejä. Harjoittelimme mm. pitkästä aikaa pää, olkapää, peppu, polvet, varpaat laululeikkiä. Luimme myös Leikitäänkö yhdessä – kirjaa. Perjantaina meillä oli leikkipäivä ja tutkimme Omppulan lasten keittokirjaa.

MAXIT – MAXIS
This week started with outdoors PE where after a thorough warm up we concentrated on some precision throwing hula hoops over the cones. To bring some more fun in it we also played music and wiggled all those wiggles out with the start and stop game. Tuesday was trip day to Julius park where to everybody´s great pleasure we found the very first frost on the ground. Children were dancing and cheering out of joy announcing the soon arrival of Santa Claus since snow is here, therefore Christmas is just around the corner 😊 Wednesdays are for Story Time and this one was no different. We read the favorite book of one of our Maxis which was about a grumpy lion and how he handled his grumpy feelings. That opened a great discussion about how we can express our feelings and what to do with them. This week´s morning circles have also reflected the same theme, therefore this book was a perfect match to our discussions. Thursday´s muskari was this time by Kristel and boy, did we have fun. Everyone got to choose a picture that represented a song and we sang our hearts out. Friday was time for Arts and Crafts and as next week is Halloween, we decided to make our very own night sky with bats flying around. Come and see them at the entrance.
