Aloha! Hawai-teemainen viikkoomme vierähti mukavasti ja vauhdikkaasti eksoottisia ananaksia askarrellen, sekä myöskin maistellen: taisimme löytää Mini-Mideille yhden uuden suosikki hedelmän. Nam. Hula-tanssi vauhditti maskotti Ankkammekin pyörähtelemään lei kaulassaan. Midit värittivät myös upeita Hawai-aiheisia kuvia ja Minit seurasivat sadun lumoissa nälkäisen toukan kasvua kauniiksi perhoseksi. Viikkomme retki tarjosi koko ryhmällemme niin sosiaalisten taitojen- kuin motoriikankin harjoittamista trampoliineilla, unohtamatta luonnon kiinnostavaa ja monipuolista tarjontaa, joka houkutteli sekä Minit ja Midit pienissä ryhmissä tutkimaan mitä nurmelta ja kiven takaa löytyykään: matoja, etanoita ja tietenkin upeita lepakoita!

MIDIS AND MAXIS last week:
This was our second and last week of the architecture project. The children have painted the construction which they made last week. Additionally, the children cut, folded and decorated different kinds of 3-D shapes. It was a challenging but interesting task. The children have chosen the theme for their summer party performance (which will again be a video). We have been practicing already and will continue practicing this next week. It will be a combination of speech, singing and dancing. We took a trip to the children’s favorite park again, which is turtle park. We are looking forward to next week, where we will do a revision of all Spring season’s projects. To see what the children have enjoyed and learned the most.
