The Water Stars – Vesitähdet
Tällä viikolla nautimme suuresta määrästä lunta ulkoilemalla mahdollisimman paljon maanantaista keskiviikkoon. Ulkona suurinta viihdettä oli suurien lumiukkojen rakentelu sekä majojen rakentelu. Keskiviikkona pääsimme myös laskemaan mäkeä liukureilla Peikkopuistossa. Torstain ja perjantain vietimme kokonaan sisätiloissa erittäin kylmän ilman vuoksi, joten nautimme ajasta yhdessä pelaamalla lauta- ja korttipelejä sekä erilaisia jää- ja lumiaskarteluita. Näin vuoden ensimmäinen kokonainen viikko on pulkassa ja intoa näyttäisi riittävän loppuvuodeksi asti!
The Waterlilies – Lumpeet
What a fun week! Winter is back and with it the nice activities we missed last year. This week, we talked about the four seasons comparing weather, the clothes, activities, among other unique features each season brings. However, winter was the focus for art and craft, trip, experiments, and music. The highlight of the week was definitely sledding down the hill of snow. Many manoeuvred the sledges as pro, others just enjoyed the fun of having a ride with friends and roll on the thick snow.
Next week, we are heading to the Philippines. Many special activities have been designed to give our Waterlilies the opportunity to explore its amazing culture. Meanwhile, have a lovely white weekend!
The Reeds – Kaislat
Hello! We have had a very nice snowy week with the Reeds. With the great amount of snow comes even more fun play times. Kids have enjoyed making snow angels, pulling the sled and playing in the snow. Reeds liked especially the gym activities which we had twice this week! In gym kids did a music exercise where everyone had their imaginary car, and they could refuel their car by doing a squat and fix the car by doing a jumping jack. This was a big hit, and we will definitely do the exercise again! On Tuesday kids made fun fire truck crafts inspired by Palomies Sami. Now we have some unique and beautiful fire trucks decorating our walls.

Fri/Pe Invited Chef from the Philippines will teach us cook Philippine popular street food: Cheese Sticks, afternoon celebration: Philippine Masskara Festival (You can bring your own carnival mask) / Filippiiniläinen kokki opettaa meidät tekemään suosittua katuruokaa. juustotikkuja. Iltapäivällä puhlitaan Filippiiniläistä Masskara festivaalia (voit tuoda oman karnevaalinaamion).
