MINIT/MINIS
The start of the week was all about checking in to different emotions and feelings. We watched a couple of videos and used various facial expressions to replicate the emotions we saw. Of course, feeling silly and doing silly faces was a hit to our Minis.
Tuesday brought us a lot of snow! We changed our plans a bit and decided to stay in our yard; half of our Minis wanted to sled while the amount of snow is still manageable for the other half of the group to still explore the snowy yard we’ve got.
Can you hear it? Despite the snow from the previous days, Muskari is still celebrating spring. We heard a couple of birds singing and everyone got the chance to try to listen to the birds “singing”. The whole group is always in the “we” spirit whenever we have music lessons. Singing and dancing is our passion!
We made something for our dear mommies the next day. We hope you’ll like it! 💕 We brought our favorite toys in the daycare to end our week. We are practicing sharing and for some, saying something about their toys in front of their friends, building friendship one sharing of toy at a time.

MAXIT/MAXIS
Monday kicked off with a lively outdoor Physical Education session, where the kids honed their listening skills, followed rules, and engaged in various physical activities. It was a fantastic start to the week, filled with fun and energy.
On Tuesday, the focus shifted to arts and crafts, as the children created colorful bunnies. They embraced their creativity, followed instructions, and improved their motor skills while enjoying the process.
Additionally, our preschoolers had a special session on shapes, led by H/ranta. They enthusiastically identified different shapes and completed exercises placing shape cutouts in the correct order.
Wednesday brought musical delights with our Muskari sessions, complemented by reading, table tasks, and arts and crafts activities.
Thursday marked a highlight with a pajama party, fulfilling the wish of the child of the week. The kids donned their cozy pajamas and danced up a storm at the disco before settling in for a movie with popcorn, making it a memorable day filled with joy and laughter.
Friday concluded the week with a delightful trip to Kulosaari Beach Park. The children enjoyed a leisurely walk, and their laughter filled the air as they played together, climbing, swinging, riding cars, and engaging in various activities. It was a perfect way to wrap up the week, fostering bonds and creating lasting memories in the great outdoors.
