VIIKON 17 TAPAHTUMAT MINEISSÄ / WEEK 17 IN MINIS:
Minis started a new week with a special story time as part of our book week. We read stories about spring and emotions and it was lovely to see how excited the children are for this season. Tuesday was arts and crafts day! Minis got creative and made their very own flower gardens using colourful paper. We had our music class as usual. We had a short stretching session followed by some fun play dough time. And we wrapped up the week with a trip to Munkkiniemi beach. The children had a wonderful time outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Have a nice weekend and see you all next week!

VIIKON 17 TAPAHTUMAT MIDEISSÄ & MAXEISSA / WEEK 17 IN MIDIS & MAXIS:
Despite winter returning, we managed to enjoy a broad variety of activities this week. We visited Oodi on Monday, as it was the start of Book Week, we chose some new books and read one there as well. On Tuesday we had another meeting with the children, where we discussed many things including how our transport theme has gone, what we will look at next, (it’s going to be Space) and what else the children would like to do before the term ends. We have also been studying boats this week so we also found time to build boats from Lego, race boats in a river and walk to Seurasaari and look at the boats in the Boat Club on the way. The Viskari also continued their alphabet work by reading a book about the letter C.
