MINIT/MINIS
The week of visiting different parks every day and just enjoying and playing is coming to an end, but playing, learning, and having fun in the Minis group will continue through our various pedagogical activities!
We started our week visiting Tokoi shore playground. It was a whole new world for our Minis! We enjoyed this park a lot! There is something to explore for everyone! If you visit it with your little ones, I’m sure you’ll see the exact happiness and excitement on their faces when we were there. 💕
The next park on our list was the “Squirrel” park. In this park, we saw our Minis trying to ride three-wheeled bikes with their friends. We also practiced our balancing skills in the trampoline, we played floor ball with an adult and played on the see-saw with one another. It was fun!🤩
On Wednesday, we had a break from the parks, but immersed ourselves through the magic of music.🎶 The next day, we went to Tuorinniemi park. It was a bit chilly, but that didn’t stop our Minis from moving and keeping themselves busy by trying new park equipment and learning how to navigate using their body coordination. We would say, we’ve seen a great improvement on their climbing skills from when we started this whole park trips. The Minis, they really tried to climb up so they can keep up with all the other children who are bigger than them, and really succeeding was a whole “they’re-so-proud-of-themselves experience! 😍🤩
We ended the week exploring Rantapuisto. We also took this chance to practice more walking with our younger ones. It was cold but as soon as we reached the park, the cold never bothered us anymore. It was a perfect day to end our park adventures! We also celebrated one of our Minis birthday! 🎉 Happiest birthday to her, and thank you for the treats!

MAXIT/MAXIS
The week kicked off with some physical exercises. We set up an exciting obstacle course that engaged all muscle groups.
The next day, we delved into creating unicorns. The children followed instructions carefully and were very meticulous in crafting their beautiful friend.
Our little Viskari mathematicians continued to master subtraction, and they’re doing great! Keep it up 👏
Wednesday flew by as usual with the sounds of music and different stories in Finnish and English languages.
Thursday was filled with walks and new books from the library. The children felt right at home in the library! After reading a few books there, we, of course, brought some back to our daycare for our Wednesday’s story time.
Our toy-themed day was all about bunnies. Thanks to bunny ears, the children transformed into bunnies and hopped around all day long 😂
This wonderful week has come to an end, which means it’s time for the next child to shine✨
Please remember, if a child doesn’t have a weekly themed toy or book, it’s allowed to bring any other toy/book 🧡
