VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
This week we started off our week developing out stories from the previous week. The Viskarit group held a fantastic show for the Whales, acting out their story ”The Angry Dog”. In the performance, the children had painted background scenarios and included sound effects via musical instruments. The Whales group had put together a story book of a story they had created together using story cards. Alot of skills were used in creating the story book, including exploring their creativity, cutting, gluing and sequencing. Whales then read aloud their story book to the Viskarit group, performing the facial emotions along with the story as it was read. The second part of the week has gone into creating halloween decorations, specifically this week ghosts and skeletons. The children are so excited for Halloween they are already counting down the days!

VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 2:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 2:
Merihevoset / Seahorses
Merihevosten viikko alkoi lukemalla lasten kotonta tuomia kirjoja. Tiistaina muovailimme taikataikinasta kurpitsoja koristamaan halloweenia varten. Keskiviikkona muskarin ollessa lomalla pidimme oman Open mic- shown. Kaikki lapset esiintyivät rohkeasti ja kannustivat hienosti muiden esityksiä. Torstaina lähdimme yhdessä delfiinien kanssa retkelle. Retki sujui hienosti ja pysähdyimme matkalla puistoon juoksentelemaan ja pitämään jumppatuokion sekä aamupiirin. Perjantaina leikimme lasten toiveleikkejä ja rakensimme majan, jonka jälkeen maalasimme alkuviikosta tehdyt kurpitsat valmiiksi.
Delfiinit / Dolphins
Tällä viikolla olemme tutustuneet Delfiinien omiin suosikkikirjoihin. Lapset saivat tuoda alkuviikosta päiväkotiin omia suosikkikirjojaan, joita olemme yhdessä lukeneet aamupiirissä ja iltapäivän satuhetkillä. Olemme valmistautuneet, myös ensiviikon Halloween juhliin tekemällä Halloween askarteluja. Muovailimme taikataikinasta kurpitsat jotka maalasimme teemaan kuuluvilla väreillä. Muskari oli tällä viikolla syyslomalle joten pidimme päiväkodissa oman open mic tuokion, jossa lapset pääsivät estradille esittämään yksin tai ryhmässä omia suosikkilaulujaan. Oli hienoa nähdä kuinka rohkeasti lapset esiintyivät ja lauloivat ja yleisö kannusti upeasti esiintyjiä. Loppuviikolla teimme vielä retken yhdessä Merihevosten kanssa sekä teimme satumaalausta kuunnellen Nalle Puh satua englanniksi.
