VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT MUNKASSA / WEEK 20 IN MUNKKA
This week was filled with the African culture as our trip continued to South Africa. The children had a chance to play the African star game in the forest. This involved lots of laughter, team working, and running around. On Wednesday, we enjoyed our last music class for this season. The children also had fun doing their Arts and Crafts projects for this week: Minis did some painting with spices, Midis created cute elephants out of recycled material, and Maxis cut out and decorated African style necklaces using paper plates, while the oldest group had their Viskari lesson. Finally, Friday started with a Waka Waka dance performed by everyone together. This was a success, as all our groups got involved and did a fabulous job dancing to the tune. Next week, we are practicing our songs for the Spring party which will be on Wednesday.
