VIIKON 8 TAPAHTUMAT MUNKASSA / WEEK 8 IN MUNKKA
This ski week has been a quiet and calm one. But despite there being few of us we went ice-skating while we still could and visited our old favourite, Pikku Huopalahti park. The end of the week brought with it The Finnish Culture day so we learnt some facts about the national epic poem, The Kalevala. We made puppets and performed parts of the story using them. NEXT WEEK we will make rain sticks during arts and crafts on Tuesday as we switch our focus to South America and Brazil. Please could everyone bring one empty kitchen roll tube PER CHILD so we can all make one. Thanks in advance!
