We started our week by celebrating Valentine’s Day. We had been singing Valentine’s songs and we will give the Valentines cards for our friends next week when hopefully everybody is here! We had fun going for outdoor trips. We went to Oodi Library and borrowed interesting story books mostly about bears. We had been to the Peikko park and had fun with sleds and playing with snow. We also did some obstacle course to practice our motor skills. For our arts and crafts activity, we made a snowman using tissue paper and macaroni. The kids loved it when they saw their snowman was finally made. On Friday, the weather was nice, so we went for a morning walk. We have also been singing teddy bear songs and winter songs. Teddy Bear’s house is ready, so the kids enjoyed arranging the stuff inside the house. This week we also gave a warm welcome to a new kid in our group.
