VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
This week we have been super busy crafting and practising for our Christmas Show. There has been lots of singing, dancing, acting and performing all in time for the filming to start next week. The children have been super excited to show each other their acts for the show, fingers crossed all goes well on filming day! This week we have also celebrated Jean Sibelius Day and listened to the composer’s music. Elina came this week with new music and story books which we have listened to and learnt some new songs. The children have now started to craft their own performance shows which they have put together and wanted us adults to watch. We also popped along to the postbox at Lauttis and taken turns to post the Christmas cards, afterwards visiting the big Christmas tree, which we were all super excited about.

PE/Fri: Christmas Party (Children can wear red clothes & elf hats!) / Joulujuhla (lapset voivat käyttää tonttulakkeja ja punaisia vaatteita!)
VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 2:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 2:
We have been busy this week, finishing off Christmas crafts and preparations for our end of season video. Throughout our week we notice the anticipation of Christmas increasing with the children now talking about the holiday more and more. Both groups have been practicing their song together and now know it well, along with the actions! During the mornings we have continued the Christmas sock experience and the children have been relieved to find out its finally their turn. Along with this they have enjoyed choosing a friend to help them find the hidden sock! We ended this week with a visit to the local post box where each of the children have been able to send off their Christmas cards to families and friends.
