TÄMÄN VIIKON KUULUMISET MINIEN RYHMÄSTÄ/THIS WEEKS GREETINGS FROM MINIS GROUP:
This week has been filled with lots of fun and exciting activities for the Minis. On Monday, we had the music class. The kids sung songs, danced to the beat of music, and played some musical instruments. On Tuesday, we went to the Peikkopark and the kids played with snow and enjoyed being pulled on the sled by the older kids. We also read a book about opposites like (big and small, up and down, sleep and awake etc). On Wednesday, we practiced doing different animal yoga positions. The kids had fun stretching and copying these different positions. We also went to the Parliament House yard and the kids were excited looking at the cars, buses and trams passing by on the road. We also did a role playing about “The Three Little Pigs”. They learned about the three little pigs and the wolf. We also watched a video about it afterwards. On Thursday morning, we went to play at the Peikko park. We also made Runebergs tart-magnet for our arts and crafts and we sang “Ruuneperi” during the morning circle. In the afternoon, we started to introduce our Valentine’s Day songs. On Friday, we went to the Peikko park to play in the morning. We ended our week with the Teddy bear project. We dressed the teddy bear with winter hat and gloves and we sang songs about the teddy bear.
