VIIKKOKIRJE / WEEKLY LETTER 47/ 2021
Minien viikko aloitettiin tuttuun tapaan muskarilla sekä vapaalla leikillä. Leikki hetket ovat tärkeässä roolissa minien päivissä, sillä leikki on luontainen tapa oppia, toimia sekä osallistua. Leikin aikana minit pääsevät myös harjoittelemaan erilaisia taitoja. Tällä viikolla minit pääsivät myös tutustumaan muumilaakson asukkaisiin muumikorttien, satujen sekä laulujen keinoin. Päiväkodin seiniä minit koristelivat upeilla muumi askarteluilla, joissa muumilaakson asukkaat seikkailivat tähtitaivaan alla. Viikko huipentui koko päiväkodin yhteiseen puurojuhlaan, josta on hyvä aloittaa joulun odotus. Ihanaa viikonloppua!
The Midis have had a very fun week, they have really enjoyed playing board games with friends. Among the many benefits of board games Midis have practiced their motor skills, their patience and following rules. Furthermore this board game’s week has helped the children learn to focus on having fun rather than winning or losing.
This week has also been very special as the children got to bring one of their favorite toys from home. Midis loved playing with friends and their favorites toys and they all share their toys and had lots of fun. We ended the week enjoying “Puurojuhla” the porridge party.
Board games week has been a success among the Maxis. Playing a board game is an exciting environment of competition and motivation that encourages verbal expression while developing qualities like patient and determination. Concentration and memory are improved by focusing on the game, as they haveto remember the rules and when it’s their turn to make a move. Also this board game’s week has helped Maxis to focus on having fun rather than winning or losing.
Besides the board games Maxis have really liked bringing one of the favorite toys from home and the porridge party.
