MINIS AND MIDIS
Maanantai lähti käyntiin pienryhmäleikeillä. Järjestimme erilaisia leikkipisteitä lapsille ja jaoimme minit ja midit sekaisin pienryhmiin. Midit näyttivät hienosti esimerkkiä mineille, kuinka jaetaan leluja ja auttoivat mielellään minejä rakennus-palapeli puuhissa. Lapset jakautuivat legoleikkeihin, autoileikkeihin, kotileikkiin ja palapelien rakenteluun. Tiistaina minit ja midit rakensivat yhdessä vauhdikkaan temppuradan. Jokainen sai valita välineitä ja sijoittaa niitä haluamilleen paikoille. Lasten rakentamalla radalla pääsi kehittämään erilaisia motorisia taitoja kuten, heittoa, hyppyjä, tasapainoilua sekä ryömintää. Iltapäivällä taas päästiin tuttuun tapaan musisoimaan Vilman kanssa. Torstaina ensin kuultiin nallet tallustaa tarina nukketeatterina pehmolelujen avulla. Lopuksi vielä lauloimme Nallet tallustaa laulun sekä lasten toivomia lauluja; here comes the firetruck ja pikku-jänö nukkuu. Midit taputtelivat viikon draamatuokion merkeissä viskareiden ja eskareiden kanssa, teemana oli tunteet. Tuokiolla käsiteltiin miltä keho näyttää ja kuulostaa eri tunnetiloissa. Minit taas viihtyivät kuraleikeissä, hyppien lätäköissä ja keräilemällä ämpärit täyteen kuravettä.

VISKARIT AND MESTARI-ANKAT:
Viskarit and Eskarit stated the week having some group games. The children were divided into different groups to enjoy some building activities such as plus plus, dublos, wooden blocks and the game Afrikan tähti. Every ten minutes, the children switched to another game, so the activities were more dynamic. They developed important skills such as socialization, communication, and teamwork. On the next day, the groups went to the backyard to have a football match. There, the kids were split in two groups and the kids played football following the game rules. It was an excellent activity, especially to work as a team and in a cooperative way. In the afternoon, they had the opportunity to develop their musical skills in Muskari. On Wednesday, Viskarit and Eskarit, went to the library to enjoy a puppet theater performance about the feelings and emotions. On Thursday, both groups had their own activity: maths. Viskarit group practiced counting skills and number recognition in English through three activities. On the first and the second activity, the kids needed to recognize the number and then add the amount of pom pons. On the third one, the kids ”build their own city” with dublos. On it, they should recognize the number and add dublo pieces. Eskarit group also practiced counting skills and number recognition in English. Besides, they worked on mathematical operations, additions, and subtractions. Also, the kids were able to use the blackboard to write mathematical operations for the other kids. On the last day of the week, both groups had drama play. The children had to act on different situations with their respective emotions. With this, the kids were able to recognize the emotions and the feelings through drama.
