VISKARIT & MESTARIT
Sataa sataa ropisee, pilipili pom… Mutta vasta tänään perjantaina. Koko viikon olemme nauttineet upeista syyspäivistä ja värien loistosta ulkona. Viikon kohokohdaksi muodostui torstainen koko aamun retki Talvipuutarhan ruusutarhaan. Ehdottomasti suositeltava retkikohde, vaikka koko perheelle! Ruusutarhassa haistelimme erivärisiä ja -lajisia ruusuja sekä seikkailimme puutarhan labyrinteissä. Alkuviikosta saimme opetella liikuntatuokiossamme eri hyppytekniikoita ja kädentaitojen tuokiossa teimme pienryhmissä hienot kädenjälkikortit. Eskarikirjassa olemme päässeet jo siihen pisteeseen, että ensi viikolla aloitamme jo kirjaimiin tutustumisen.

Another fun and exciting week has ended! The highlight of this week is our physical education activity focusing on running, jumping, and long-jump. We finished this activity by doing an animal-themed jumping exercise where the children chose different animals, imagined how these animals jump/move and performed the movements that they have imagined. We also had our first emotional skills activity where the children practiced naming/recognising different emotions and actively participated in the discussion about the following questions: What makes you feel sad, happy, scared, etc? What makes you feel better? What can you do when someone feels sad? Also, our trip to Temppeliaukio Park was cancelled and we went to Hesperian Park instead. The children learned new rhymes this week: Autumn Leaves and Kesä Muisto. On Monday next week, we will have our first theme day which is Pyjama Day. The children are welcome to come to the daycare with their pyjamas on and enjoy our fun activities. A lovely weekend to all!
