MINIS’ last week:
Minien viikko on jälleen vierähtänyt vauhdilla! Pienryhmissä on viikon mittaan mm musisoitu ja tutustuttu väreihin sekä numeroihin. Talviteema kantoi läpi muskarin ja retkemme oli kirjaimellisesti lunta tulvillaan, mikä antoi loistavat puitteet motorisille harjoitteille tarpoen nietoksissa, unohtamatta eläinjoogaa, jossa tutustuimme tuttuja eläinhahmoja matkien perusliikkeisiin ja tasapainotteluun. Ruotsalainen kulttuurikin tuli meille hieman tutummaksi Pippi Långstrumpin, sekä muiden ruotsinkielisten lastenlaulujen johdolla. Avoimin mielin Minimme yhtyivät myös ruotsinkielisiin lauluihin!

MIDIS AND MAXIS last week:
From the start of the universe, “big bang theory”, to the formation of the earth, we now have made our way to learn about continents this week. We learned about Antarctica this week, coldest and driest continent in the world. We have learned a song about Antarctica. On Tuesday, we had muskari lesson, everything went well. Viskari children also used the playdough made their names and numbers, it was good practice on their fine motor skills. On Wednesday Theresa taught a very good caterpillar story with pictures and interactive play. After that everyone made a lovely penguin with cotton and paper. On Thursday we had singing and dancing at our morning circle. On Friday, we had a morning circle to talk about emotions. we also went sledging in the park as our trip. Children had so much fun with the snow.
We have been reading a few English fairy tales after snack time, the children have been enjoying the story and pictures.
