Almost finishing the month of June before going on summer holidays the MINI ducks have been able to have music classes with different instruments such as the maracas, one of their favorite instruments where they can let their rhythm flow. Taking advantage of the good weather, the Mini ducks have been out in the park singing spring-summer songs and our morning circle in the shade of the trees. This week we also welcome and celebrate the midsummer, where all Ankkalampi duckies were dancing together, having a facepainting, drinking juice 🧃, play inside of a tent ⛺ and had our own Juhannus sauna simulation in the sand box. What a lovely way to spend the day <3
MIDIEN juhannusviikkoon on kuulunut paljon ulkoleikkejä- ja pelejä. Midit ovat päässeet myös nauttimaan tällä viikolla vesileikeistä maanatain sateisen sään johdosta. Olemme lukeneet tällä viikolla vanhoja eläinaiheisia kansansatuja karhusta, suudesta, ketusta sekä muurahaisesta. Lisäksi olemme jutelleet juhannus perinteistä, juhannus taioista sekä mikä ylipäänsä juhannus on. Midit osasivatkin hienosti kertoa juhannuksen olevan keskikesän juhla. Viiko huipentui juhannustansseihin. Juhannus ohjelmaan kuului lisäksi juhannussauna-leikki, kasvomaalausta, kukkakorupaja, juhannustaikojen keksimistä sekä mölkky peli. Riemulta ja naurulta ei vältytty juhannustanseissa ja siitä olikin hyvä aloittaa rentouttava juhannus viikonloppu. Ihanaa juhannusta kaikille!
Summer is finally here and we are all enjoying the beautiful, sunny days. This week the MAXIS have taken advantage of the warm weather and we have done as much of our activities outside as possible. On monday we did some painting- the theme was sunmer, of course. Our planned trip to Mustikkamaa on tuesday turned into a trip to Kaisaniemi park due to logistic challenges, but everyone had a lot of fun regardless. On wednesday we got to run and climb to our hearts content in the park – we played Neiti Susi and practiced our balance on the monkey bars. On thursday it was time for our Midsummers party! The park was filled with music, dancing, laughter, facepainting, bubbles and balloons – we all wished the morning would never end. Happy Midsummer to everyone!
