MINIS:
This week for Minis started with playing different outdoor games in small groups, such as ball games (basketball and football), train play, tractor play and different role play games that the kids developed themselves. On Tuesday, Minis, Midis, Maxis and Viskarit went on a walking trip to Klaukkalan puisto where we all sat on the grass and enjoyed a lovely pic-nic tasting fresh donuts! After the small snack, kids went to the park and played with each other, swinging, sliding, climbing trees, and rolling down the small hill. On Wednesday, all groups went to the backyard to celebrate the end of the spring season, performing songs to each other and participating in different fun circus themed activities. Minis and Midis performed together the songs they have been practicing during the last month and then got to play “bowling”, throw water balloons through holes, pose for a photoshoot wearing crowns, glasses and moustaches and throw ropes over small “branches”. After the activities, the kids played in the yard and enjoyed juicy and sweet watermelon slices! In Wednesday afternoon, all kids got to “fish” their own ice-cream and get a face-painting service of their own choice! On Thursday, Minis together with Midis, Maxis and Viskarit visited the backyard once more to play water games. Children used their water pistols, water balloons and buckets to splash water to each other, and the ones not so fond of water went sliding, swinging, and played games in the sand box. On Friday, Minis had a relaxing day reading stories and playing role play games in small groups. Minis had another great week and wishing you a lovely weekend!
MIDIT
Tällä viikolla olemme viettäneet paljon hauskoja hetkiä yhdessä muiden ryhmien kanssa. Viikkomme alkoi leikkipäivällä, jolloin saimme leikkiä pitkän tovin pihalla. Kesäsäällä on hauskaa auttaa kukkien ja viljelysten kastelussa, poimia kukkia aidan välistä ja lekotella varjossa kavereiden kesken. Tiistaina lähdimme koko talon yhteiselle retkelle Klaukkalanpuistoon. Levitimme isot piknik-viltit nurmelle ja herkuttelimme Haltialan munkkidonitseilla, nam! Nurmikukkuloilla juoksimme ylös ja kierimme alas, ja lauloimme yhdessä lauluja. Juuri kun lentokonelaulu alkoi, taivaalle yläpuolellemme ilmestyi oikea lentsikka. Se oli lasten mielestä hurjan hauskaa! Lopuksi pääsimme vielä leikkipuistoon kiipeilemään, keinumaan ja juoksemaan. Kevätjuhlapäivä koitti vihdoin keskiviikkona. Kaikki olivat pukeutuneet kesäisen juhlavasti, kun keräännyimme yhdessä takapihan aurinkoon. Esitimme ryhmien kesken harjoiteltuja lauluesityksiä, ja pidimme hauskaa erilaisten aktiviteettipisteiden parissa. Pisteillä sai mm. kokeilla tarkkuusheittoa renkailla ja palloilla, ottaa hassuja valokuvia kavereiden kanssa, heittää vesi-ilmapalloja sekä tanssia ja nauttia virkistävää vesimelonia. Juhlat jatkuivat iltapäivällä omalla pihalla nauttien leikistä, musiikista, kasvomaalauksista ja onginnasta. Saaliikseen kaikki saivat herkullisen jäätelön, joka viilensi ihanasti kuumana päivänä. Torstaiaamuna tapasimme pihaleikkien parissa ensi kaudella ryhmässä aloittavan uuden lapsen. Toivotimme hänet tervetulleeksi meille Pakilaan kesäloman jälkeen. Torstaiaamupäivänä koitti myös odotettu koko talon yhteinen vesileikkihetki takapihalla. Iloa ja vauhtia riitti, kun erilaisilla vesileluilla kastelimme toinen toisiamme minkä kerkesimme. Perjantaina english clubilla kuulimme kaksi satua englanniksi, ja keskustelimme satujen sanastosta yhdessä.
MAXIS & VISKARIT:
Maxis and Viskarit started the week with some water games, to cool down these last warm days. The kids went to the backyard and had free play while having fun with their water pistols and water balloons. On the next day, all the unit went to Klaukkalanpuisto. There, the groups (and of course the adults…) enjoyed some fantastic doughnuts. After that, and to burn the extra sugar, the kids were rolling, jumping, climbing, sliding and having fun in the play park. The kids were able to develop imagination, social and gross motor skills. On Wednesday, Minis, Midis, Maxis and Viskarit celebrated their Spring Party! During the morning, the kids went to the backyard, where they found different stages to play several games, eat watermelon, take funny pictures with a very summer inspired frame, and dance a lot. It was a very nice time, where children and adults enjoyed a lot. In the afternoon, the kids could continue the activities, like fishing for ice cream, playing with the bubbles and painting their faces. On Thursday, the kids celebrated a huge water game with the rest of the groups in the backyard, and it was really fun! On the last day of the week, Maxis and Viskarit had the opportunity to play in small groups like car play, building games, dublos or plus plus games. It has been a lovely week.
