MIDIT-MIDIS
A new month has begun, bringing new activities, exciting trips, and lots of fun for the children. This week, we enjoyed a special trip to Esplanadi to watch the Nalle Show, organized by the police force. The children had a wonderful time and greatly enjoyed the performance. We also visited the library, where the children explored books and enjoyed a calm learning environment. Another highlight of the week was our visit to the Natural History Museum. The children were excited and curious as they discovered a variety of animals and amphibians. Seeing the different exhibits sparked many questions and discussions, making it a fun and educational experience for everyone. It has been a week full of learning, exploration, and happy memories. We look forward to many more exciting adventures throughout the month! IMPORTANT! Midis can bring their own toy during the rest month of June, making sure that toy fits in own backpack.
MAXIT-MAXIS
Maxis welcomed the first month of summer with overflowing energy and enthusiasm for longer outdoor adventures. We visited different playgrounds every day and enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, including a jungle-themed climbing challenge at Peikkopark and biking practice at Taivallahti Playground. Indoors, we focused on developing the children’s social and play skills through fun games and role-playing activities. Our ongoing Language Project has been interesting and enjoyable for all of us. It has been wonderful to see the children learning the familiar song Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in Finnish, English, Swedish, Filipino, Polish, Vietnamese, and, most recently, Latvian.
Starting next Monday and continuing until the end of June, every day will be Toy Day. There will be no specific themes, but please make sure that any toy brought from home fits inside your child’s backpack.
VISKARIT & MESTARIT
Tällä viikolla olemme olleet poliisien kanssa paljon tekemisissä. Matkasimme nimittäin Pasilan poliisiasemalle palauttamaan lasten löytämät avaimet. Saimme palkkioksi tarroja ja heijastimia. Teimme päivän tärkeän teon! Tutustuimme matkalla myös Pasilaan kävellen Tripla -kauppakeskuksessa, nähden Vr-n pääkonttorin ja bongaten Veikkaus -areenan. Tiistaina taas kävimme kuuntelemassa poliisisoittokunnan lastenyhtye Nallekoplan keikkaa Espan lavalla, jonka yhteydessä he opettivat meille tärkeitä asioita liikenneturvallisuudesta. Näimme myös ratsupoliiseja suloisten hevosten kanssa. Tarttuvat laulut jäivät elämään ryhmässämme loppuviikoksi!
