Viikkokirje-Weekly Letter 23
MINIS/MIDIS
This week, we celebrated our Child of the Week and spent the week exploring activities based on his interests and favorite things. The children visited his favorite park, enjoyed his favorite bread during lunch time, and played his favorite labyrinth game at the daycare. We also had a fun Silly Day, where the children could wear their clothes inside out and enjoy a disco together with the Viskarit. One of the week’s most creative moments was making a snowman—(he created a “lintu lumiukko” in his own words) even though summer is just around the corner! Since our Child of the Week chose the activities, we embraced his imagination and brought his idea to life. Through these experiences, the children practiced creativity, self-expression, decision-making, and respecting each other’s interests and ideas. We ended the week with a toy day and some friends brought a dog figure toys according to our child of the week’s request, giving the children the opportunity to share, play, and enjoy time together with their friends.

MAXIS/MAXIT
Viikon aloitimme retkellä Rantapuistoon, olimme sielä yhdessä Minien ja Maxien kanssa. Tiistaina menimme vuorostaan Minien kanssa Risto Rytin- puistoon leikkimään. Keskiviikkona askartelimme ulkona kukkia. Torstaina vietimme leikkipäivää, enimmäkseen sekin ulkona. Perjantaina saimme leikkikavereita Herttoniemenrannan Ankkalammen lapsista ja leikimme ulkona. Vietimme myös lelupäivää.

VISKARI
We were lucky to have such beautiful weather this week and spent most of our time outdoors!
On Monday, we went on a trip to Rantapuisto together with the Minies and Maxies. Tuesday was our own adventure, with a picnic and playtime at the Töölönlahti playground. The children moved, had lots of fun, and could explore a new environment.
Wednesday and Thursday were united with Bug theme. The children used their imagination to create butterflies that can flap their wings and build an underground world for ants.
On Friday, kids from the Herttoniemiranta Ankkalampi unit joined us for outdoor play. We ended the week with a toy day, playing together and sharing our favorite toys.

Viikko-ohjelma voi muuttua tarvittaessa. Weekly schedule can che had a lot of new experiences together with Maxies and Minies. We visited different forests around the daycareange if needed.
