MIDIS & MAXIS
We are well and truly underway with our preparations for the Spring party with the children beginning to memorize the dance routines and many decertations are also being prepared. We began the day this way during Monday morning and then continued with the toy day.
It was the final week for the viskari meeting this week with the Kulosaari group, however we will meet for the last time of the season for a trip to Tapiola next Tuesday. This week the children focused on the English letter ‘X’ and ‘E’. Meanwhile the Midis joined the minis for a walk towards the beach where they enjoyed some picnic snacks.
It was a trip to the library during Wednesday morning to Hertsi shopping center. After arriving there by foot we read some stories and then later on the children explored books of their choice. The weather was fair so we also decided to walk back to the day care.
We focused on the spring party preparations during Thursday morning and then ended the week in Korkeasaari Zoo. When we got back to the day care we asked the children about what animals they enjoyed looking at the most. The bears, monkeys and the big cats were clearly their favorites.
The end of season is approaching fast and we look forward towards many exciting activities ahead, let’s hope the weather will be kind. Have a nice weekend, Trystan and Marta.
