The Water Stars – Vesitähdet
A lovely week has been enjoyed by the Waterstars!
To continue our Africa learning theme, we have enjoyed creating our own Lemur’s during our craft session and we have begun practicing our singing for the end of term assembly.
This week pre-school sessions were taken by Kirsi and Charlotta, the learning focused on the letters ‘D’ and ‘G’, rhyming pairs, mathematical stories and road safety!
The Viskari Waterstar’s enjoyed a trip with the Waterlilies to Oodi climbing park.
Next week we are looking forward to taking a trip on Thursday 27th May to play tennis! We will be going in the morning to HVS Tennis centre. 9:15, if you would prefer to meet us there then we will arrive at 9:30. If you have any questions about this trip then please ask or if you do not want your Waterstar to participate then please also let us know.
Have a nice weekend and see you next week 😊
The Waterlilies – Lumpeet
What a week! The rain has brought fresh and clean air and made it possible to see some minibeasts that have caught our little ones’ attention. The Teacher of the Week could finally teach us about snails. Waterlilies had the opportunity to use some of their senses to explore these little creatures. The children observed the snails in detail with our magnifying glasses and carried them for a short time. Some had a funny reaction when feeling the snail’s slime as it slowly walked on their palm. This has been the last week for our one-month project about nature. In this regard, some of our learning is displayed on our room’s wall. However, a more exciting month is about to start!
Next week, we will focus on rehearsing for our Spring group party and video filming and enjoying outdoor activities. As well, we will recognize Waterlilies for this year’s participation in our four-year-old and Viskari group. In their respective age group, special activities have been planned to celebrate the completion of this year. Meanwhile, have a relaxing rainy weekend!
The Reeds – Kaislat
Hiekasta on syntynyt toinen toistaan hienompia luomuksia.
Seuraavalla viikolla pidämme koko maailman matkailu –teeman loppuun vedon. Koko viikon on siis teemoitettu matkailun ympärille. Kiitos kaikille tästä viikosta ja hyvää viikonloppua!
