VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
This week we said our summer goodbye to Riikka and thanked her for such a lovely music school season. We have been busy this week practising with our spring party show. The children have been very excited and learning their lines for the drama. We have also been making making many props ready for the children to use in the show. Also this week we completed a charity running race where the children were able to receive a band and juice. A good week all round!

Merihevoset/Seahorses
Merihevosten viikko aloitettiin ulkoilemalla kakkuja tehden. Olemme myös päässeet tutustumaan ryhmässä aloittaneeseen uuteen lapseen ja toivottaneet hänet tervetulleeksi ryhmään. Kaikki ovat ottaneet uuden tulokkaan innolla vastaan. Tiistaina maalasimme musiikin tahtiin keväisiä maalauksia. Keskiviikkona oli kauden viimeinen muskari, jossa lapset olivat mukana tutulla innokkuudellaan. Torstaina pidimme puistossa valokuvasuunnistusta. Lapset etsivät innoissaan kuvia ja löytäessään huusivat ”lisää, lisää”. Perjantaina ulkoilimme lämpimässä säässä ja vietimme lelupäivää.
Delfiinit / Dolphins
The Dolphins have been really enjoying the warm and sunny spring weather this week. We began our week with a colouring craft, where we also practiced our fine motor skills. On Tuesday, the children enjoyed coming up with stories using their imagination and with some help of picture cards for our story telling activities. On Wednesday, the children had a lot of fun singing and playing instruments in the last music school of the season. On Thursday, we took a very long walking trip to a nearby forest and all the children walked very actively. They also enjoyed climbing the hills and obstacles in the forest as well as collecting sticks and hugging the trees. We ended our week with a lot of outdoor play time in the sunny weather and playing with our own toys.
