The Water Stars – Vesitähdet
A great week has been enjoyed by the Waterstars, following on from the birthday party and Vappu disco event that the children really enjoyed at the end of last week.
This week, the children have created lovely Mothers Day crafts and thought about the special wishes they wanted to write. We have also continued our learning on Africa, focusing on animals and culture. Music sessions returned in person this week and seemed to be thoroughly enjoyed by the children!
Pre-school this week has been with Riika and Charlotta, the focus was on number progressions, the letter H and a friendship story.
Viskari children focused on listening comprehension, recounting and drawing what they had heard.

The Waterlilies – Lumpeet
What a lovely week! This week’s theme was Mothers, so every activity was planned around this wonderful person in our life. From short stories about Mother’s Day to craft, the children embraced the opportunity to acknowledge how important their mom is for each one of them. Our Waterlilies were excited to deliver the act of love they prepared for their mom every day.
Next week, we will continue with our project about nature. We will inquire about plants and their cycle. But before doing so, we would like to wish you all a wonderful Mother’s Day!!!
The Reeds – Kaislat
Kaislojen kanssa olemme viettäneet hauskan aktiivisen viikon. Lapset ovat liikkuneet ja touhunneet paljon tällä viikolla. Keskiviikkona Kaisloilla oli todella pitkä ja hauska jumppa tuokio aamupäivällä. Retkellä suuntasimme Oodin edustalla olevalle lasten verkkokiipeilytelineelle. Kaikki Kaislat innokkaina juoksivat, kiipeilivät ja touhottivat koko retken ajan. Lapset sanoivat retken päätteeksi haluavansa mennä joskus uudelleen Oodin kiipeilytelineelle. Ulkona lapset ovat nauttineet myös sateisista keleistä ja into ulkoleikeissä sen kun lisääntyy.
Tällä viikolla Kaislat ovat myös valmistelleet askartelutuokioissa erittäin salaisia asioita rakkaille äideille. Aamupiireissä olemme pelanneet muistipeliä ja harjoitelleet numeroita jopa viidellä eri kielellä. Kaiken kaikkiaan meillä on ollut mukava viikko Kaislojen kanssa. Kiitos tästä viikosta. Hyvää viikonloppua ja ihanaa äitienpäivää! Nähdään maanantaina!
