MINIS
Aurinkoinen pääsiäisviikko aloiteltiin rentouttavalla jänöjoogalla. Pääsiäispupu oli jättänyt meille jänöjoogakortit, joiden avulla minit venyttelivät sekä puettavat jänökorvat somisteeksi. Rentouttavan joogan jälkeen innostuimme vielä pomppimaan jänölaulujen tahdissa. Toivotimme myös Netta harjoittelijan tervetulleeksi minien ryhmään. Tiistaina jatkettiin kädentaidoilla. Maalasimme eri tavoilla (siveltimillä, tuputtamalla sekä sormilla) pääsiäismunia koristeeksi ikkunalle. Askartelun aikana harjoittelimme tunnistamaan ja nimeämään värejä suomeksi, että englanniksi. Innostuimme vielä askartelemaan myös porkkanat painamalla minien pikkujalkoja paperiin. Keskiviikkona lähdimme aurinkoiselle kävelyretkelle midien, viskareiden ja eskareiden kanssa. Matkalla ihastelimme keväisiä värikkäitä kukkia, lintujen laulua ja työkoneita. Mukavan kävelyretken jälkeen siirryimme sisälle suujumppailemaan värikkäiden pääsiäissulkien avulla. Pääsiäisviikon kohokohta oli torstaina nimittäin odotettu pääsiäisrieha. Pääsiäispupu oli käynyt piilottamassa ympäri taloa suklaamunia. Isommat lapset auttoivat hienosti minejä etsimään herkullisia suklaamunia. Maistelimme rohkeasti herkullista pääsiäisherkkua mämmiä kerman kera. Mämmin maku jakoi mineissä mielipiteitä, osa piti kovasti ja osa ei. Laulelimme myös vielä pääsiäislauluja sekä tanssimme pääsiäisdiskossa ennen pääsiäslomalle lähtöä.

The first day of the week started with a storytell. It was about a cat who loved penguins. Kids had a chance to choose their own favourite animal and then we learned them in English. On Tuesday we were preparing for Easters by doing beautiful decorations. Midis made huge colorful eggs from paper so we were practising cutting and ripping. Now it decorates our daycare windows. We also finished our “grass box” project by adding funny chicks that we made from sticks and yarn. Midis took it home and now they can learn how to take care of their own plant by watering it every day and leaving it to the sun – being responsible. Next day it was so sunny and warm so we went out for a walk and searched for spring signs. Finally we ended up in backyard playing games and swinging. On Thursday we were hunting for easter eggs. Midis were challenged to find out where the eggs are hidden in all around the day care area. The eggs were made of chocolate, so the award was to eat it. The last day in the day care was very fun. We wish you all Happy Easters!

VISKARIT AND MESTARI-ANKAT
Viskarit group started the week by doing some number writing practice. Numbers are a big part of our daily life’s, so it is important to identify them and know how to properly write them. They did some activities, such as tracing the number on a paper, counting, and writing the correct number and tracing over the number. By doing this activity, the kids practiced number recognition, the ability to write the numbers correctly and number sequencing. On the other hand, Eskarit group had different activities around the letter J, and finished their wonderful towels. On the next day, the kids continued the road trip around their houses. This time, the host explained how the distribution of his house is, he showed his yard and backyard, and there were some snacks for all the kids! On Wednesday, the kids went to the backyard to have free play, which foments imagination and socialization. Indoors, they crafted and decorated their Easter eggs. On Thursday, the whole house celebrated Easter by doing some chocolate egg hunt, celebrating a big party, doing some bunnies movements and much more.
