What a lovely sunny week! The highlight of this week is Egyptian culture. Many interesting and fun activities brought a new level of learning experience to the children. They learned a couple of Egyptian words: salaam aleikum and shukran (hello and thank you). The little ones were fascinated during our discussions about pyramids, camels, cruise to Nile river, and Egyptian carvings. For that, they created pyramids using sensory friendly materials with different texture. The children also participated in our ancient Egyptian adventure workout during the gym session following the history of Egypt through movements and music. To wrap it all up, we ended the week by organizing a multisensory space for our Egypt day, where the children engaged in different activities such as making pyramids using plastic cups to practice controlled movements at the same time, tasting some dates from Egypt, virtual tour, and an open discussion about children’s feelings and opinions on this trip. Next week we are going to Ghana. A fantastic weekend to all!

Breakfast is served between 8:00-8:20. If you want your child to eat breakfast at the daycare, kindly come latest 8:20. Those who are not eating breakfast at the daycare are welcome to join us at the yard except Mondays when we have music sessions. For everyone’s safety, we avoid crowd in the entrance.
