MINIT/MINIS
Maanantaina ystävänpäivänä minit askartelivat värikkäät sydämet ikkunaan, askartelivat ystävänpäiväkortteja kaverille ja perheelle ym. läheisille. Leivoimme myös muffinsseja, joihin koristelimme sydämiä. Juttelimme myös mitä ystävyys on. Tiistaina meillä oli Disco ja pukeuduimme punaiseen/ pinkkiin. Lakkasimme myös halukkaiden kynnet, halukkaita olikin kaikki tytöt. Kaikki saivat toivomansa väriset kynnet. Keskiviikkona kuuntelimme äänisatua ystävyydestä. Torstaina meillä oli muskari, jossa lauloimme, soitimme ja tanssimme. Perjantaina oli leikkipäivä, lasten toiveesta maalasimme vesiväreillä, piirsimme ja kuuntelimme lastenlauluja. Osa kävi myös kävelyllä lähiympäristössä.

MAXIT/MAXIS
This week was dedicated to friendship, kindndess and of course, love. On Monday we started the week off with something sweet – baking! We made Valentine´s Day cupcakes with a special ingredient – a pinch of love in it. Everyone got to mix and feel and taste the ingredience making the baking a fun experience for everyone. Tuesday was was even more exciting as we had our Valentines Day disco. Everyone wore something red and the room was filled with heart shape balloons. It was an explosion of laughter and music and dancing. After that we took a little breather and talked in the morning circle about the big question – what is Love? Wednesday was Story time and we listened a story about a man who after being lonely and sad discovered how lovely it was to smile and do little acts of kindness and through that winning lots and lots of friends. Thursday is well loved music lesson day where rhtyhm and rhyme are practised through several games and songs bringing big smiles to our duckies faces. On Friday we went to Mustikkamaa for a walk in a forest to find birds and squarrels and leave our little friends some food on the trees as act of kindness. Our maxis walked a long way, following signs of little animals and insects and worms. A walk in the nature opens up a complete new world of adventures and is a field of lessons to children of all ages. Have a lovely weekend!
