VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
During this week we have had a particularly strong focus towards friendship skills. Identifying what these skills are and how we can apply them within kindergarten. The children have a strong understanding of these skills and have demonstrated this at different times during the week. We began with arts and crafts as both Viskaris and whales made window decorations for the upcoming friendship day. On Tuesday we were able to enjoy another music school session before starting Wednesday’s friendship activity. Collectively we identified skills that a good friend possesses and how we can use them. These ideas were shared and then written in preparation for Thursday’s art and craft where the whales created food dishes based around these skills. The Viskaris had completed this craft already the previous day and were able to take a trip to the local library. Friday rounds off our week with friendship stories collected from the library.

Merihevoset / Seahorses
Seahorses started their week with a fun play day. On Tuesday they enjoyed longer outdoors time playing with the snow. Music school went very well, this week the kids listened and sang songs about the snow. On Thursday Seahorses had gymnastics, they had lots of fun imitating animal movements, it was also a good way to practice their motor skills, balance and coordination. They ended the week doing art and crafts, with the help of adults the children created a cardboard fire truck with a picture of them as drivers!
Delfiinit / Dolphins
Delfiinien vauhdikas viikko käynnistyi ulkoleikkien merkeissä. Tiistaina teimme kävelyretken, joka sujui liukkaasta kelistä huolimatta kaikilta todella hyvin. Viikkoon mahtui, myös tuttuun tapaan muskari jossa laulettiin jo lapsille tuttuja talvilauluja. Torstaina sukelsimme roolileikkien maailmaan, jossa lapset pääsivät pukeutumaan oman halunsa mukaan käyttäen päiväkodin roolivaatteita. Leikki oli todella hauskaa ja leikeissä mukana kirmailivat niin kokkeja, lääkäreitä sekä ryhmä haun tuttuja hahmoja kuten Vainu ja Samppa. Perjantaina vietettiin kansainvälistä 112 päivää ja niinpä Delfiinit askartelivatkin teemaan sopivia paloautoja.
