VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
This week has had a strong focus towards children’s rights and making our children aware of this. There have been many group conversations throughout this week based upon a character named Tiuku, explaining examples throughout daily letters. Tuesday continued with our weekly music school lessons and outdoor play. We have also turned our attentions towards the Christmas holidays as we all planned our show to include the children’s wishes. During Wednesday the Viskaris visited the local post box to deliver our Christmas messages to Santa Claus. We now wait patiently in anticipation for a returned letter! The Whales stayed inside for a fun game of hide and seek inside the kindergarten. We spent the rest of our week completing coloring sheets related to children’s rights and preparing some Christmas crafts for the upcoming event!

Merihevoset / Seahorses
Viikko alkoi joka vuotuisella valokuvauksella. Valokuvaus onnistui hienosti, vaikka se sekä innostutti että jännitti lapsia. Tiistaina aloitimme valmistautumisen jouluun ja askartelimme joulupukkeja. Keskiviikkona oli perinteisesti aina yhtä kiva muskaripäivä. Torstaina oli jumpparata, jossa pääsi tasapainoilemaan, heittämään palloa, pomppimaan ja menemään jumppatunnelista. Erityisesti jumppatunneli oli lasten suosiossa ja siitä mentiinkin uudestaan ja uudestaan. Perjantaina ulkoilimme yhdessä delfiinien kanssa.
Delfiinit / Dolphins
Our week started with the photography program and all the children were very excited to get the annual photos taken. We then continued our Monday with some outdoor play. On Tuesday, we took a short trip to the nearby field for our very active colour run activity. On Wednesday, our music school went well as usual and drew some pictures to take home with us. Our Thursday included many activities. First, we went on a walking trip where children got to decide which direction they would like to walk and then we read a book about children’s rights. We then ended our week with outdoor play and solved some fun animal and vehicle puzzles in pairs.
