VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
This week we have been busy preparing for the highly anticipated event… our Halloween party! Its been great to see the excitement build during the last couple of weeks with the children often speaking about the costumes they intend to wear. Monday began with a children’s meeting where we asked how they would like to celebrate for Fridays party. We decided the activities and planned music for the disco. Tuesdays music school was enjoyed as always before a trip to the forest on Wednesday for ”bear day”. We hid animals in the forest before ”going on a bear hunt”. After that we read a story in the forest and played in tent pitched for camping! On Thursday we revisited the Halloween theme with scary stories about a skeleton family. PARTY DAY… as Friday rounds off a week packed full of activities and experiences. The children looked brilliant in their costumes and were able to enjoy a day packed full of activities. They began with a Halloween picture hunt around the kindergarten before moving into a fashion show and of course… a disco! Jelly and ice cream at snack was a great way to round off a memorable day.

Merihevoset / Seahorses
Merihevosten viikko alkoi leikkipäivällä ja edellisen viikon kesken jääneiden askartelujen viimeistelyllä. Tiistaina menimme delfiinien kanssa retkellä läheiseen puistoon, jossa hurjimmat uskaltautuivat kiipeilemään kiipeilyköysissä. Keskiviikkona muskarin peruunnuttua järjestimme lasten toivoman open mic -shown. Lapset esiityivät rohkeasti ja yhdessä kannustimme toisten esityksiä. Torstaina pidimme delfiinien kanssa yhteiset Halloweenjuhlat. Aamulla järjestimme muotinäytöksen, jossa lapset pääsivät esittelemään hienoja naamiaisasujaan. Tämän jälkeen pidimme vielä discon ilmapallojen ja musiikin kera. Iltapäivällä katsoimme vielä Ryhmä Hauta ja nautimme popcornia. Perjantaina ulkoilimme ja aloittelimme uutta askartelua.
Delfiinit / Dolphins
Our week started with calm domino games, where we learned about animals as well as rule games. We then had a relaxing yoga session with the Dolphins followed by a unique massage. On Tuesday, we went on a trip to a nearby park with the seahorses, where the children enjoyed practicing climbing. On Wednesday, we had an open mic from the children’s wish, where everyone got to perform songs and show tricks on the stage while others practiced encouraging. Everyone enjoyed dressing up for Thursday’s Halloween party with some fun face paints and disco. We ended our Thursday’s Halloween day with Paw Patrol Halloween movie and popcorns! <3 We ended our very active week with outdoor play and learning to sort out colours.
