VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
This week we have started to focus our activities around the use of our own bodies. We have been exploring our own stories by starting with ourselves and what we look like and how we can use our bodies in different ways. We have created pictures of ourselves, depicting our hair, clothing style and colours. It was also national ”Learning to Read Day” this week, therefore we practised letter recognition, using running games for this. We also used our bodies to form different letters, figuring out how to copy each letter using different parts of our bodies.

Merihevoset / Seahorses
The weather has already started to change little by little and the atmosphere started to be a bit chilly, so that made the perfect time to start talking about the autumn season with the children and making our first autumn arts. They drew their magic tree and got their favourite colours to put around as colourful leaves. Everyone is such an artist! Also, this week we decided to bake our own buns and children were very excited about the baking too, flour went all over the place, but it was a worth experience! We have also had our weekly music session where duckies played a variety of instruments and had different games about musicality and rhythm. Finally, as we always try, we have also enjoyed having lots of free play and outdoor games together since now is the best time before it gets colder. Hopefully winter is still far away!
Delfiinit / Dolphins
Syyskuu on jo hyvässä vauhdissa ja tällä viikolla olemmekin päässeet nauttimaan jo ihan oikeasta syyssäästä. Viikon alussa opettelimme tunnistamaan eri värejä erilaisista elementeistä ja asioista kuten esimerkiksi erilaisista leluista ja muodoista sekä vaatteista. Viikkoon mahtui, myös paljon odotettu retki kirjastoon. Retki meni todella upeasti ja kaikki pääsivät valitsemaan mukaansa päiväkotiin omat suosikkikirjansa, joita voimme yhdessä lukea lapsille satuhetkillä. Keskiviikkona Delfiinit pääsivät tuttuun tapaan yhteiseen muskarituokioon, jossa lapset pääsivät soittamaan ja laulamaan syksyn lauluja. Perjantaina vauhdikas viikko päätettiin jumppatuokioon, jossa teemana oli tällä kertaa oman kehon hallinta sekä tasapainon kehittäminen.
