VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
This week we have been busy enjoying the summer weather with plenty of time outside and for play. We have started the week with a sunset craft in which we produced some beautiful water colour sunsets with wax crayons. We also had a lovely day participating in our own olympics! We ran the athletics field, completed a relay race and finished the day with tug-of-war! A great summer trip day!

VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 2:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 2:
This week has been amazing and very active for the Dolphins and Seahorses. We have been spending a lot of time outdoors playing and enjoying the sunny and warm weather. We started our week with some relaxing outdoor play. For our Tuesday PE, we played rope games and practiced playing rule games such as ‘Simon says’ / ‘Kapteeni käskee’ outdoors where the children had a lot of fun becoming Simon / Kapteeni and trick their other friends. On Wednesday, we continued with our indoor and outdoor games. We have also been practicing reading and listening to books in English and Finnish throughout the week. On Thursday, we had our very awaited olympics which was the highlight of our week. The Dolphins got to go to a nearby sports field to take part in the olympics where they practiced a variety of sports while the Seahorse enjoyed their olympics at the day care park. In the end of the very active and fun sports day, all the children got participation medals. On Friday, we ended our week with a trip to the harbor.
