VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
Finally settled back from the Christmas break, the children have been familiarizing themselves with kindergarten routines. We started the week with a “children’s meeting”! These meetings are a great opportunity for the children to express ideas and experiences for the upcoming season. On Tuesday we created a “new year’s” firework craft, something fun to start the mark of our new year. In the afternoon we began a viskari project session ready to complete the following day. The highlight of this week was the ice skating visit within the local area. We were able to enjoy the morning at the ice before finishing that session with games. On Thursday the whales exchanged the books and were able to read a story at the library whilst the viskari group completed another session. We round off this week with outdoor games!

Merihevoset / Seahorses
The Seahorses started the week by doing some fun drawings with painted snow. They also enjoyed the reading of different books, a very fun open mic together with the Dolphins and doing art and crafts with a paper plate and creating a fish to decorate our sea theme wall. They ended the week with a super fun circuit course, practicing their balance, coordination, jumping and moreover having a very good time with friends.

Tammikuu etenee kovaa vauhtia ja tällä viikolle olemmekin päässeet nauttimaan upeasta talvikelistä. Viikon alussa otimme pulkat esille suuntasimme pulkkamäkeen. Retki oli todella hauska ja kaikki nauttivat mäenlaskusta. Keskiviikkona muskarin ollessa vielä tauolla lapset pääsivät esittämään omia suosikkilaulujaan Open mic tuokiossa. Lapset lauloivat rohkeasti ja kannustivat, myös kavereita upeasti yleisöstä. Viikon lopulla askartelimme paperilautasista meriteemaan liittyviä kaloja sekä päätimme viikon jumppatuokioon.
