VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1: VISKARIT JA MAXIT / THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
MAXI & VISKARIT:
After the Easter Holiday, we gently transitioned back into our kindergarten routine. It was lovely to see how refreshed and content the children were, many sharing joyful stories about the special time they spent with their families.
The week began with rather gloomy weather, but as the days progressed, we were greeted by beautiful sunshine. This allowed us to spend extended period outdoors, enjoying the park and engaging in active play. Outdoor time continues to play vital role in supporting children´s physical development, social interactions, and connection with nature.
Our highlight of the week was our project-based learning activity, where the children collaboratively created their own zoo. Using clay and building blocks, they explored their creativity and imagination by designing animals and constructing zoo environments. This activity supported a range of developmental areas, including fine motor skills, problem-solving, cooperation, and expressive arts. It was wonderful to observed how the children shared ideas, negotiated roles, and took pride in their creations.
Although it was a shorter week, it was filled with meaningful experiences, creativity, and joyful learning moments. Looking forward next week activities! Have a lovely weekend!
MESTARIT:
Kevät on saapunut myös puistoon ja se näkyy vahvasti myös eskarilaisten arjessa! 😊
Lahnalahden puisto on lasten suussa saanut uuden nimen – pyöräpuisto. Olemme viettäneet paljon aikaa ulkona, ja innokkaasti on kyselty: “Voidaanko mennä pyöräpuistoon?”
Muuttolintu-projektissa matkustimme tällä viikolla Espanjaan. Lapset piirsivät Espanjan lipun omaan “passiinsa” ja harjoittelivat sanomaan espanjaksi: “Me gusta chocolate!”
Äidinkielessä harjoittelimme P-kirjainta. Lapset saivat myös pienen läksyn, josta piti huolehtia päivän aikana – hienosti on tehtävistä suoriuduttu!
Lisäksi kevätjuhlien sekä sirkusteeman harjoitukset ovat käynnistyneet. Luvassa on iloista tekemistä ja esiintymisen riemua.

VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 2: VISKARIT JA MAXIT / THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 2:
DELFIINIT / DOLPHINS
We hope you all had a wonderful and restful Easter holiday. It was a joyful week filled with fun activities and happy moments together.
On Tuesday, we resumed our routine with lots of smiles and excitement, and the children enjoyed an animal gym session where they imitated the movements of different animals while listening to songs, with plenty of jumping, crawling and stretching.
On Wednesday, we had a lovely music class where the children explored rhythm, singing, playing instruments, and expressed themselves enthusiastically.
Thursday was spent enjoying outdoor play in the fresh air, followed by a fun disco and dance session in the afternoon where everyone laughed and moved to the music.
On Friday, we had a trip day which gave the children to explore outside, and it was also Toy Day, so they had great fun sharing and playing with their favorite toys.
It has been a wonderful week reconnecting after the holiday, and we are so happy to see the children back, active and engaged.

MERIHEVOSET / SEAHORSES:
This short week after Easter has been a lovely one!
We started off with a fun animal gymnastics session that the children really enjoyed.
On Wednesday, they had their music class, where the theme was animals and spring, everyone had a great time, and it was lovely to see their enthusiasm!
Thursday was full of outdoor play, followed by a fun disco in the afternoon.
We ended the week with a nice trip to Lahna Park, where the children enjoyed the sunny weather and had fun playing together in a new environment. We also had a cheerful open mic session in the afternoon, so many brave and happy performers!
