VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 1:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 1:
We hope everyone enjoyed the Easter break! Coming back with a shorter week, we started back with a morning at music school. We had a new student at music school also helping us this week too. We have also been starting to plan our Spring show. This year, the children have given their ideas in how they want to design the Spring show for parents! It has been lovely to discuss with them and listen to their opinions and ideas. We have also spent a lot of time enjoying the warm Spring sun this week, its finally nice to start the jump into Spring clothing!

VIIKON TAPAHTUMAT LAHNALAHTI 2:/ THIS WEEK IN LAHNALAHTI 2:
Delfiinit / Dolphins
It finally feels like spring with the wonderful weather and as children have begun to use their spring clothes and their sun glasses. We began our week with spring craft, where children first painted a paper with blue watercolour to give it a rain effect and later, we practiced our fine motor skills by cutting the paper with scissors as water drops. Our Wednesday’s music school was also related to the rain theme and children sang songs about water puddles, buckets, and shovels. In the afternoon circle, we also learned animal names in English and tried to figure out weather the animal lives in a farmhouse, jungle or in the water. On Thursday, Dolphins took an amazing trip to Myllykallio hills and we also got to climb on the bird tower. Although, it was very windy, we still got to spot a few different birds and even a squirrel. We then ended our week with some balancing and ball exercise where we practiced throwing and catching the ball. We also got to play with our own toys and in the morning circle, all children amazingly described and presented their toys to others.
Merihevoset / Seahorses:
Merihevosten viikko aloitettiin aurinkoisessa säässä retkellä Lohiapajan puistoon. Matka taittui kaikilta hienosti, ja pääsimme ihastelemaan matkalla muun muassa sorsia, oravaa, isoja veneitä sekä ambulanssia. Puistossa oli hauska touhuta sekä tehdä tuttavuutta uusiin kavereihin. Keskiviikkona muskarissa laulettiin keväisiä lauluja, jonka lisäksi lapset harjoittelivat värejä sekä lajittelua englanniksi. Torstaina askartelimme kotileikkihuoneen keväiselle seinämaisemalle kukkia. Lapset pääsivät harjoittelemaan hienomotorisia taitoja repimällä, rypistämällä ja liimaamalla silkkipaperia. Viikon päätimme lelupäivään ja aamupiirissä lapset hienosti esittelivät omat lelunsa muille.
